the crawling pants by tcb are based on the p-44 usmc hbt pants - also known as monkey pants - which were introduced by the united states marine corps in the 1940s. the pants, with their characteristic large back pocket, are made in okayama from japanese herringbone twill, which is every bit as good as the original.
