the still young label tcb (two cats brand) was founded in japan in 2012. however, company founder hajime inoue is anything but a denim novice. in the late nineties, his love for vintage jeans led him to denim mecca, okayama, where he learned the craft of blue gold from scratch. his jeans are puristic, without frills and remind in cut and fabric of the great role models of the 50s and 60s. and as an avowed cat fan, it's not surprising that inoue decorates every pair of jeans with a cat motif on the leather patch.
