the “christy down vest” in emerald is part of the “50th anniversary” heritage collection, with which rocky mountain featherbed celebrates the registration of the brand in the usa in 1974. the vest is based on the down vests mainly worn by cowboys for their daily work in the late 1960s and early 1970s. the vest is made in japan from a 70 denier nylon fabric that is an exact replica of the original fabric of the old down vests and a one-piece leather yoke. the mouton collar and the lining filled with down (90/10) keep you nice and warm even on the coldest days.
