the xx-003 is pure blue japan’s regular straight cut which is the brand’s modern take on the classic jean fit. the cut is roomy throughout the top block, knee, and opening, with a very slightly tapered leg. the jean is made from pbj’s famous 14oz raw denim woven at low tensions on vintage shuttle looms. the result is a beautiful slubby and almost hairy texture.
