tcb | baggy 50's jeans
when tcb started in 2012 the 50's jeans were the first jeans they made and their answer to the question “what are the best jeans?”. when tcb jeans started to be shipped overseas they created slim 50’s to make it easiert to style for overseas denim fans as the trend was rather slim there at that time. recently, company boss hajime noticed his younger employees wearing the classic 50's jeans three sizes too big and casually on the hips. this reminded hajime that the same jeans can look completely different depending on who wears them and how they are styled. it has always been this way. in the 1980s, mods used to go in the bathtub with their jeans to make them tighter, while skaters wore them oversized in the 1990s. and so hajime decided to reinterpret the classic 50s style with wide legs and a relaxed waist as baggy jeans for the younger generation. the rest of the specifications, such as the yarn color and the unsanforized 13.5 oz denim, are identical to the original.
