the real mccoy's | type g-1 real mccoy mfg. co. / 55j14
the g-1 flight jacket by the real mccoy's is a faithful reproduction of one of the first jackets in the 55j14 jacket series introduced in 1947. the g-1 marked the evolution of the m422a used during the second world war and is still often worn on us navy ceremonial occasions.
the rmc version type g-1 real mccoy mfg. co. / 55j14 has been faithfully made from a vegetable-tanned goatskin with an aniline finish. the jacket interior is lined with nylon woven cloth. wool ribbed details are included on the cuffs and hem. the jacket is closed with a black oxided 50s oval zip on cotton taping. overall you can say the g-1 is an absolute design classic and - next to the a-2 - probably the ultimate flight jacket.
