the real mccoy’s n-1 deck jacket is about the closest, most accurate, reproduction of the original garment that we’ve seen. for this they have started from the very beginning, re-examining the fabric color, stitch count used per inch, and studying countless patterns of n-1 deck jackets within their huge vintage archive. the main differences to the previous rmc models are the color of the fabric, which now has a slight reddish tint within the navy color, the color of the seams, which matches the outer fabric, and the fit which is still narrower than the khaki version but now offers more freedom of movement under the arms.
