the joe mccoy lot. 991 is a relaxed tapered fit jean and is made in japan from 14.75oz right hand twill denim, exclusive to the joe mccoy models. the indigo color is one of the oldest dark navy blue that has been used since the beginning of indigo rope-dyeing for jeans in japan. the jeans are woven with a standard 6-count yarn, which is the basis of all vintage replicas in japan. with sewing specifications that are based on vintage techniques, but altered slightly for better durability.
