the sd-103 by studio d'artisan was thomas' very first pair of japanese shrink-to-fit jeans almost 15 years ago and is currently one of our favorite denim styles again. it features a classic slim straight silhouette - not too wide, not too tight - and is made in japan from sda's famous 15oz unsanforized denim. this beautifully hairy fabric was designed as an homage to vintage jeans of the early 1940s and 1950s, and gets more and more beautiful with wear and washes.
