the standard straight jean in coated pink from schaeffer's garment hotel is a limited edition jean and is made in los angeles from a white 14oz japanese selvedge denim that was custom coated light pink. with wear, the coating slowly wears down to reveal the white denim fabric underneath, making each pair a unique piece. each pair is handmade above the sgh store on sunset boulevard in hollywood.
