ruttloff garments x stuf|f | h5-sfg stuf|f slacks - rinsed
our third collaboration project with our friend johann ruttloff has the motto "back to classic". the h5-sfg - or stuf|f slacks - is a stuf|f exclusive cut based on an old vintage jeans from the 1960s. featuring a mid to high rise, with a slim straight leg the jean is made from a shrink-to-fit selvedge denim from nihon menpu in japan. the 14oz (unwashed) respectively 16oz (washed) denim has a great hairy vintage texture and will age beautifully. we chose the name slacks with a little twinkle in the eyes. slacks are nowadays a rarely used term that basically refers to loose fit pants that are more formal than chinos but less formal than suit pants. the stuf|f slacks aren't really loose but compared to our "slim" standards of the last 5 years, they are definitely more relaxed than slim. but still slim enough to wear them in the office with a dress shirt, a pair of alden shoes and a jacket. so, slacks. our slacks were handcrafted by johann himself in his workshop in dresden. you can't get more classic than that.
