the lower pocket jean jacket is old joe's minimalist take on a classic type 2 denim jacket, featuring distinctive low-positioned flap pockets and an elegant small collar that frames the face when fully buttoned. this version is made in japan from a black 12oz kibata denim. this exceptional denim fabric was woven in ibara, japan's leading denim production region, from high-quality indigo-dyed warp yarn and carefully selected beige weft yarn, and has a great, irregular “nep” texture with lots of depth and character.
