mister freedom | buckaroos waist overalls "nm trad" denim

the buckaroos by mister freedom are anything but your ordinary five-pocket jeans.  inspired by western slacks, vintage denim dungarees, and old imagery, they combine a distinctive design with plenty of great details. particularly characteristic are the intricate rear buckle-back construction - developed entirely in the mister freedom atelier - and the signature western-style front pockets with buttoned flaps, originally designed to keep personal belongings safely tucked away, even on horseback. this “nm trad” version is made in a small, family-run workshop in california from traditional 14oz selvedge denim. woven in japan, the new-old-stock denim combines deep indigo warp yarns with natural-colored weft yarns, developing a unique patina with every wear and wash. copper rivets, custom metal buttons with a vintage finish, cotton stitching in three different colors, and the signature “m” stitching on the back pockets underline the authentic character of these exceptional jeans. the fit is inspired by classic cowboy pants from the 1930s and 1940s: generously cut, with a relaxed, straight silhouette, and deliberately not designed for a slim fit. a pair of jeans with history, character, and a whole lot of attention to detail.
