great canvas shoe by merz b. schwanen in collaboration with the traditional slovak brand novesta. the shoe is based on novesta's bestselling model starmaster with the characteristic vulcanized sole and the upper made of finest cotton canvas. new is the vintage inspired "mbs" print on the side as well as nice but subtle details like the co-branded insole or the woven label on the tongue, made on old, original machines in germany. the woven label not only features the logos of both brands, but also the words "i'm your good companion!" on the inside. and these beautiful sneakers certainly are.
