john lofgren | combat boots - black shinki hikaku tea-core horsebutt
these limited edition combat boots by john lofgren are made from shinki hikaki horsebutt leather in black tea-core. once they're sold out, they are gone!
the combat boot is john lofgren's take on the classic m-42 cap-toe military boot worn by american gi’s in world war ii. while faithfully reproducing such distinctive details as the unique toe caps and decorative broguing, john lofgren’s combat boots are also updated to meet the needs of contemporary life. like all their footwear, the uppers are beautifully executed by a master japanese craftsman that has been sewing their uppers from the very beginning. and of course, these boots are also completely built in japan.
