the vannes trousers by jelado take their inspiration from 1940's work trousers made in france and northern europe from a heavy-duty moleskin or cotton. moleskin was particularly popular as it is a warm, hard wearing material making them ideal for working in. the vannes trousers are made in japan from a brushed moleskin fabric and feature a high rise with a relaxed top block and a strong taper, that provides a modern silhouette. they have been put through a unique ageing process to give a vintage like appearance, coming in a faded black, close to charcoal.
