the 55 denim 2nd type jacket is jelado’s take on a 1950s levi’s denim jacket keeping the original old-fashioned silhouette. the jacket is made in japan from jelado’s famous “last resort” denim. for this jelado has dissected the original 501xx deadstock denim with a focus on cotton used, thread thickness, fibre length and weight. the jacket has been one-washed to remove shrinkage, meaning these are ready to wear and good-to-go.
