this beautiful chambray shirt by fullcount is based on vintage 1940’s work shirts. the chambray fabric is woven on old shuttle looms using “wall twisted” threads. wall twisting is a unique process where thick, strongly twisted threads are spirally wound around thin untwisted threads. the threads then act upon each other when woven, and small wrinkles appear in the fabric giving it a look like crepe appear.
