the s0105 by japanese brand fullcount is another great representation of the iconic ww2 style jean. this model is based on the brand’s 0105 cut, which is a little fuller in shape than previous versions and boasts a comfortable high rise waist. the jean is made from fullcount’s famous 13.7oz zimbabwean cotton denim and features many typical ww2 denim details. for example the loose threads are reminiscent of the many unskilled workers in the clothing industry as a result of the shortage of personnel during the war. further as is common with many ww2 models, the rivets on the watch pocket are absent, and the pocket bags are made from an alternative fabric. in this case, the brand have used a brilliantly soft check flannel, which adds a nice contrast to the deep indigo of the jean.
