the utility shirt by far east manufacturing is based on the u.s. army military shirts used during the korean war and adopted as standard issue at the start of the vietnam war. far east manufacturing draws inspiration from the early 1950s models, which were cut more like jackets, with straight sleeves and no cuffs. the shirt is made in japan from an authentic cotton sateen fabric with a great vintage texture.
