this beautiful deep black peacoat by buzz rickson's is part of the "type black" militaria cooperation.with science fiction novelist william gibson. the coat is based on an archival piece from the early 20th century and is made in japan from heavy 36oz melton wool. the densely rolled wool fabric as well as the rigid, high collar will keep you nice and warm on colder days and withstand the most adverse weather conditions. 10 military spec urea buttons adorn the front, custom designed with the early style “13 star and anchor” motif representing the first 13 states of america after their independence from the british. the two side entry pocket mouths have been finished with a beautiful horsehide leather, to ensure durability and comfort, making the coat even more elegant.
