the g-1 is an absolute design classic and - next to the a-2 - probably the ultimate flight jacket. the spec 55-j-14 by a. pritzker & sons, inc was the first g-1 and was designed in the late 1940s for navy pilots and their cramped cockpits. buzz rickson's version is full of original details and is made in japan from dark brown goatskin. the jacket has a modern slim fit with a genuine mouton fur collar, but still offers excellent freedom of movement thanks to the bi-swing action back.
