this beautiful black long version ma-1 jacket by buzz rickson's is part of the "type black" militaria cooperation with science fiction novelist william gibson. gibson designed a fictional black ma-1 jacket from buzz rickson's for his protagonist in his book "pattern recognition", and the idea for an all-black collection was born.

the ma-1, hailed as the masterpiece of flight jackets, is highly regarded. only four companies were responsible for manufacturing the first models, and one of them was albert turner & co. the distinctive zigzag stitching ho securely holds the wool pile in place is one of the meticulous features of the company. this long version ma-1 jacket is based on a vintage albert turner & co. jacket.
