buzz rickson's reproduction of the m-65 filed jacket was made from a heavyweight cotton sateen in japan. the original m-65 jacket was developed through continuous improvements from the m-41, which was introduced during world war ll. subsequent field jackets were fitted with a special lining, greatly improving functionality and versatility.
