the n-1 deck jacket with u.s. navy print on the back by buzz rickson's is a faithful reproduction of the navy model introduced in 1944, but just for a short time and in limited quantities. the year after it was distributed in khaki together with some further detail changes. the deck jacket was developed to protect the u.s. navy ship's crews from the adverse weather conditions on the high seas. with its warm alpaca lining, the deck jacket still defies the most uncomfortable winter weather today.
