this beautiful leather jacket by buzz rickson's from japan is based on a vintage a-2 flight jacket originally made by aero leather clothing. in fact, it was the last model from the sixth contract of the british manufacturer, who produced flight jackets for the military since the late 1930s. the brick red knit cuffs, commonly referred to as "red ribs," contrast beautifully with the seal brown, vegetable-tanned horsehide from italy, making this a-2 one of the most popular of its kind.
