the ffa jacket is an iconic piece of american farming and workwear history. it was designed in 1933 by dr. gus lintner of frederickton, ohio as a uniform for the future farmers of america association members. originally made by universal uniform co. of kansas city, its classic zip fronted blouson model earned its place in vintage workwear history as a practical piece of workwear uniform, iconic in its navy corduroy, chain-stitched names and ffa patch on the back. this version by bryceland’s is made in okayama from caramel cotton corduroy from japan. the jacket sits neat and boxy, with a relaxed sleeve and button cuff, finished with a solid brass and cotton tape universal zip from japan. uniform for the day to day, with enough elegance to sharpen up any farmer’s working gear.
