the 133s is the slimmer version of the classic “133”, combining a modern, slightly tapered silhouette with the character of traditional japanese denim craftsmanship. comfortably relaxed around the hips and thighs, the leg gradually tapers from the knee down without compromising on comfort. made in okayama, japan, from 13.5oz left-hand twill denim, the 133s also stands apart from conventional jeans in its weave. unlike the more common right-hand twill, the diagonal weave runs in the opposite direction. the result is a dense, stable denim that shrinks comparatively little and becomes noticeably softer with every wear. over time, the fabric develops a wonderfully supple, almost suede-like feel and a truly unique patina of its own.
