the nijuorisashiko trucker jacket is blue blue japan’s modern take on a classic type 2 denim jacket and is made in japan from a thick, indigo-dyed double weave sashiko fabric. specifically, it uses genuine indigo thread dyed with skeins, leading to a characteristic slight vertical unevenness. by drying the yarn without using high heat during the dyeing process and weaving and finishing the fabric, the texture is soft and fluffy. the jacket has a relaxed, casual fit, features practical side pockets, and will age beautifully and uniquely.
