the numbering raglan short-sleeve sweatshirt by barns outfitters draws inspiration from varsity sweatshirts of the 1930s through the 1950s. the classic number print is complemented by a playful, hand-drawn “peace” script, adding a distinctive touch to the design. the silhouette is inspired by the boxy raglan sweatshirts of the early 1990s, but the body length has been slightly adjusted for a more modern fit. made in japan from a subtly irregular cotton fabric that is neither too heavy nor too light, it has a distinctive texture and character. the brand’s signature pigment-dyeing process, which primarily colors the surface of the fabric, gives it the authentic look and feel of a vintage find. with each wash, the color gradually fades, developing a unique patina over time.
