the wool field sports jacket by the real mccoy's is a true repoduction of a vintage sports jacket from the late 1930s. “sports jacket” used to be an umbrella term for highly functional and versatile outerwear being popular from the 1920s through the 1950s. the jacket is made in japan using a thick black double-cloth wool fabric and features horsehide leather trimming and elbow reinforcement, as well as a brass bell-style zipper on the chest pocket. there are also two cinch-style adjusters on the back of the jacket.
