the “down vest” by rocky mountain featherbed is the brand's signature piece and is based on the down vests of the 1960s. this version is made from a premium japanese black denim that develops rich character over time. the lining is rmfc’s original 70-denier nylon taffeta, lightweight and comfortable, with a structure that keeps the down evenly distributed. filled with european water-repellent down (90% down, 10% feather, 700 fill power), it stays warm even in wet conditions.
