the ventura 737 is stevenson overall’s ventura modern standard jean, featuring a versatile slim straight silhouette with a slight taper from the knee downward. the jean is made in japan from their original 14oz selvedge denim, which is exclusively woven for them by kuroki mill. the denim features an uneven slubby texture with a beautiful subtle green cast. each pair is carefully made by hand, symbolised through the features like the curved belt loops, back pockets and coin pockets, which are all crafted using the same single stitch flat felled seam method originally applied to denim production during the 1920s. a true modern classic.
