the flat-back jean trouser “946” by old joe is based on old work jeans from the 1930s and feature a straight, slightly wider leg and a slightly higher rise than the “980” from old joe's denim line-up. what remains the same, is the minimalist, elegant design and the creases, which both are more reminiscent of tailoring than engineering. the jeans are made in japan from a sulfur dyed black 13.5oz denim with great, irregular “nep” texture. they come in a vintage wash but will further age beautifully with wear and wash.
