the italian brand valsport was founded in padova in 1920, when the eighteen-year-old antonio valle started the handcrafting production of high quality sporty shoes. what was originally a small workshop with shop became one of the most renowned sports shoe manufacturers in italy. the brand reached its peak in the 1970s, when it became the official sponsor of the juventus turinsoccer team and sports stars such as gigi riva, fabio capello and billy costacurta wore valsport sneakers. today, as in the past, all shoes are handmade in italy from the best italian materials. italian design paired with the retro-chic of the tennis shoes from the 70s make the valsport sneakers an elegant companion for (almost) every occasion.
