the real mccoy's | buco j-100 jacket
unlike some of the other sub-brands of the real mccoy's, buco is a real brand from the 1940s. originally the "joseph buegeleisen co." in 1933, they were specialists in motorcycle accessories and saddlebags. in 1947, they launched "buco", a full apparel line with the slogan: "motorcycle jackets, gloves, caps, belts and bags all cut and sewn by life long craftsmen dedicated to the task at hand.”
the j-100 is probably the most iconic jacket from buco, recreated by the real mccoy's. the leather is genuine horsehide vegetable tanned and aniline dyed which will give it excellent wear and break in over time. this jacket is a true american classic and was originally used for competitive moto racing in the 1950s.
