the flat head was founded in 1996 out of the love of its founder - mr. kobayashi - for vintage jeans and the style of the american 50s and is today one of the leading denim brands in japan. we have rarely seen a brand that puts so much passion, time and attention to detail into every single one of its products. good is just not good enough for perfectionist kobayashi. it should always be the best, as the claim "we are particular about our clothes" already expresses. by the way, kobayashi thinks that his products are only 50% complete at the time of purchase. only over time, through wearing and "wearing out", do they reach their full value. we think this is a very nice attitude in times of fast-moving fashion trends.
