the laniakea sweatshirt by sunray sportswear is based on the sweaters from the 1950s that were originally made for american footballers to wear underneath all their equipment to add some padding and foremost to handle the sweat - hence the name "sweater". featuring a relaxed boxy fit with “drop shoulder”, this jumper has a classic v insert crew neckline and is finished with slightly longer ribbed trims and cuffs. it is made in japan on old vintage circular knitting machines from 100% premium cotton and is pigment dyed for a unique worn-in look & feel.
