the “traditional beads bracelet” made of glass and brass beads by kobashi studio is inspired by the jewelry of american natives. each element is made exclusively for kobashi by traditional japanese craftsmen. the japanese glass beads, each of which has a different size, come from a bead factory that was founded in 1930. the family-run hardware company in tokyo, which is responsible for the brass beads, is similarly old.
