the sis25-102 hoodie by samura is made in japan from densely knitted, 30-thread open-end yarn that has been dyed using the indigo rope dyeing process. the garment is finished with natural persimmon tannin (kakishibu), which offers antibacterial properties, high color fastness, and a patina that darkens with wear. sewn with a four-needle flatlock machine, the fleece has a robust finish and a subtle translucent tannin tone. a truly unique sweatshirt that is anything but basic.
