the george boot by swedish one man brand råland bootmaker is based on a uniform boot that king george VI. ordered for the british troops in 1951. the laces of this ankle boots were placed higher so you couldn't see them peeking out from under the hem of the uniform pants. råland bootmaker’s version is made by one pair of hands in kalmar, sweden from a beautiful vegetable tanned horse leather from italian maryam tannery. the last is handmade and the boots are also handwelted. due to their generous arch support, quality construction and durable soles these elegant yet robust boots are suitable for everyday wear for many years to come. they are comfortable out of the box and will only get more comfortable with wear as the insoles conform to your feet. “one man” adam persson shows his skills through these boots, it´s easy to tell that this is an absolute top quality boot once you see them live and when you can put your hands upon them.
