the japanese knitwear label mooncastle was launched in 2020 and is the first own brand of the family-owned company tsukisiro knit co., ltd. in osaka, originally founded in 1966. mooncastle produces fine knitwear with great attention to detail - from developing the fabric, knitting, sewing and washing - in the senshu area of osaka prefecture, one of japan's largest knitwear production regions.
