mister freedom | one-zero smock - black nylon
the one-zero smock by mister freedom is inspired by vintage "one zero jackets", originally designed as rain jackets for elite special forces during the vietnam war. as these jackets turned out to be too noisy for stealth missions, they were generally relegated to being worn around camp and turned into souvenir garments with custom patches and adornments.
mister freedom's interpretation is a casual popover-style windbreaker with many functional details, such as the two front pockets, two back pockets and two inside pockets for maximum storage, and a tall collar that can be snapped up for additional protection from the elements. the jacket is made in japan from heavy 100% nylon twill, is unlined with the exception of the camo back yoke, and has black painted brass snaps that will chip and scratch the color over time.
