freenote cloth | 9oz shifter pant tan

the shifter pant is one of the newest fits in freenote’s chino lineup. inspired by classic garage style pants, the fit is generous without being too baggy. the goal was to design a comfortable pant with a timeless aesthetic. starting with the brand’s slim straight workers chino as a template, they opened up the top block by adding room to the thigh and giving the pant a higher rise for a more relaxed seat. the leg opening was also widened to create a balanced straight-fit. they used the same interior finishing details found on their workers chino, including a two-piece waistband finished with binding and herringbone pocket bags from japan.
