the br02767 belt, web, waist, em m-1937 by buzz rickson's is part of the "type black" militaria cooperation with science fiction novelist william gibson. gibson designed a fictional black ma-1 jacket from buzz rickson's for his protagonist in his book "pattern recognition", and the idea for an all-black collection was born.

the belt is a faithful reproduction of the gi belt that was introduced in the us army in 1937. the belt comes in one size, is made in japan from a robust cotton fabric and has a black lacquered brass buckle without a pin, which can be used to flexibly adjust the width. the print on the back shows the government service, the year of adoption and the size, just like the original.
