fine creek leathers | eric 1.3mm black shinki horsehide jacket
only few leather jackets age like a fine creek leathers jacket. that’s also true for the eric, a slick, minimal, and modern single rider jacket without bells and whistles. it’s made from 1.3mm shinki horsehide leather that has undergone a unique tanning process at the famous shinki tannery of himeji, japan. the tanning imbues the leather with matte, smoky black hues with subtle hints of red brown. over time, the leather’s surface pigments will chip and age to reveal the browns beneath. a simply perfect jacket that will age beautifully.
