felco
felco is an old hand among the sportswear labels and was founded in new york city in the late 1930s during the world economic crisis. the highlight of the company's history were certainly the 1970s when felco was the official supplier to the nba, mlb and other professional sports associations. in 2009, the company was taken over by japanese investors and production was moved from new york to southern california and japan. felco is particularly proud of the cotton fabric for the us tubular knit t-shirts, which is still produced on rare old looms and has a unique, slubby texture.
