the real mccoy's | jacket, combat, winter real mccoy mfg.co - khaki
the winter combat jacket, commonly known as "tanker jacket", was originally developed in 1941 as part of the winter combat uniform for armored divisions. but shortly thereafter, the jacket was also worn by usaaf fighter pilots because the jacket was warmer, more flexible and comfortable than the classic a-2 leather jackets.
the real mccoy's tanker jacket version is based on the later model with welt pockets. it is made in japan from a simple chino cloth exterior and is lined with thick melton wool fabric to keep you warm on colder days. a true classic.
