the gusset tee by the real mccoy's is made in japan from 8oz cotton fabric and features a double v-insert collar like a sweatshirt. the ribbed insert originally served two main purposes: it allowed the wearer to more easily don the garment without it losing shape. the second reason is that it helped to absorb sweat. in any case, the gusset tee is more than a basic and gets more beautiful the longer you wear it.
