les motocyclettistes | lapize horsehide leather jacket
the lapize jacket by french brand les motocyclettistes is named after a segment of the linas-montlhéry motor racing circuit. the assymetrical café racer style jacket is made in japan from two to three pieces of horse leather (the back is made from a single piece) from famous shinki tannery. it’s extremely comfortable thanks to its perfect cut. the lapize features a side diagonal zipper for improved protection, an inside pocket, 1930s to 1950s style waldes zippers and a navy blue cotton twill lining woven in japan, with inside diamond shaped topstitched padding.
